Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate that the Inter comparison process can be used in master’s degrees in information and communication technologies as a tool that facilitates knowing first-hand how other similar degrees work and have been accredited, in addition to Know the points of improvement with respect to the career under study. The research methodology is exploratory in nature since rarely used variables are described and through the qualitative study the characteristics of the Inter comparison process are described and interpreted as a basis for initiating higher accreditation processes in a short or medium period. The results of the study show the areas of improvement that these types of programs can work on to position themselves at the forefront of quality and continuous improvement. Finally, a proposal is established by phases to guide this type of processes and achieve their successful implementation and defines how a combined model with criteria from two accrediting entities can facilitate its approach and development of the entire process.
