Author Guidelines

LACCEI Proceedings does not accept direct submissions through this website. Papers are submitted through the corresponding LACCEI / LEIRD conference review system.

Submission categories

LACCEI Proceedings accepts the following Full Paper (FP) submission types, all of which undergo double-blind peer review and receive a DOI upon acceptance and presentation:

  • Full Paper (FP): reviews
  • Full Paper (FP): data
  • Full Paper (FP): software
  • Full Paper (FP): general

Submission limits

  • Maximum 7 authors per paper

Languages accepted

English, Spanish, Portuguese, French.

Ethical Authorship

By submitting, authors confirm that the work is original, has not been published elsewhere, that all listed authors contributed substantively, and that potential conflicts of interest are disclosed. AI use must be disclosed per LACCEI policy. See Publication Ethics for details.

Presentation requirement

Only papers formally presented at the conference (onsite or virtual, in hybrid format) are eligible for publication in the official proceedings.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
