Abstract

Abstract– In the era of globalization, companies have witnessed a growing interest in venturing into foreign markets in response to worldwide interconnectedness. This article focuses on comprehensively analyzing the strategies and benefits linked to business internationalization in Latin American countries over the course of the last twelve years. To achieve this purpose, a methodology of systematic literature review is adopted, in line with the PRISMA approach, in order to streamline and enhance the understanding of the outlined objectives. Additionally, the relationship between export promotion and innovation within the context of internationalization processes is examined, highlighting how both variables contribute to the global expansion of organizations. The findings of this research shed light not only on the key aspects of internationalization in Latin America but also on the essential interrelation between export promotion, innovation, and the internationalization process itself. These findings carry crucial implications for companies seeking to excel in the international landscape, offering valuable information for decision-making in an increasingly competitive and globally connected business environment. Ultimately, this study provides insights that can guide companies towards success in their endeavors to expand into foreign markets, enriching the understanding of the dynamics involved in this process within the Latin American context.
