Abstract

This study addresses the combined application of Lean Manufacturing techniques, specifically 5S, Just in Time, and Total Productive Maintenance, at the metalworking company INTEMAQ SAC, located in Lima, in 2025. The findings indicate that these tools achieved a significant reduction in production times, confirmed by statistical analysis. The implementation of 5S improved the organization of the production area, eliminating waste and standardizing processes, which increased productivity and reduced downtime. Furthermore, Just in Time optimized inventory management, reducing excess materials and streamlining production flow. Furthermore, TPM contributed to increasing machinery availability and performance, minimizing unexpected downtime and promoting operational continuity. The combination of these methodologies not only improved specific operational indicators but also strengthened the organizational culture based on continuous improvement, boosting the company's competitiveness in the metalworking sector. This work validates the effectiveness of Lean Manufacturing in optimizing industrial processes in similar contexts.
