Ethical banking and SDGs: A mixed review of the literature

This study proposes to analyze ethical banking and its socioeconomic and environmental value proposition related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The methodology used involves a mixed bibliometric and systematic review of the scientific literature associated with the topic, using recognized standards such as PRISMA and the Ordinatio Method for the construction of the bibliographic portfolio. The results highlight the specific contribution of ethical banking to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 1, 7, 8, 10 and 13. In conclusion, it is emphasized that ethical banking is presented as an alternative for clients and investors to reflect their social and environmental concerns through financial decisions, and the application of ethical principles can help restore society's trust in the banking industry.
