This study focuses on the analysis of entrepreneurial intentions among university students, emphasizing its importance for economic development and innovation. The adopted methodology is quantitative, utilizing a questionnaire based on three dimensions (personal, resources, and social) and applying a Likert scale. The sample consisted of 280 students from various faculties in Lambayeque, Peru. JASP statistical software was used for data analysis, including reliability and validity measures of the instrument. The results show significant differences in entrepreneurial intentions based on gender, type of university, and faculty. It was found that men, students from public universities, and those in engineering have a higher entrepreneurial inclination. Furthermore, it was observed that personal factors have less influence than resources and social aspects in this intention. The conclusions highlight the complexity of the entrepreneurship phenomenon in the educational field and underline the importance of the university environment in fostering entrepreneurial intention. Recommendations include the development of gender-sensitive entrepreneurship programs, the integration of entrepreneurial education across various disciplines, and the promotion of a university environment that supports entrepreneurship. Additionally, fostering collaboration among universities, businesses, and governments, and continuous evaluation of entrepreneurship programs are suggested.Downloads
