The management of entrepreneurial competencies in students of Higher Education Institutions in Latin America. A systematic review between 2019 - 2023.

Resumen

The objective of the article is to identify good practices or strategies for the implementation of an adequate management of entrepreneurial competencies of students in Higher Education Institutions (HEI). For this reason, an exploratory study was carried out, and for the analysis and selection of the information, the PRISMA method was used for the analysis and selection of information, including publications from the last five years (2019-2023) from repositories such as Scopus, Dialnet, Red Scopus, Dialnet, Redalyc and Scielo. Likewise, the review of 22 scientific articles, where the relevant findings, in terms of weaknesses detected are risk management, financial knowledge and digital tools, and in terms of strengths are learning from mistakes and creativity and innovation skills. As for the HEIs, they present problems such as not having a comprehensive education curriculum, curricular policies, and government and society involvement and society. Finally, based on the best practices of the HEIs, it sets out the route for the management of entrepreneurial competencies in students: identify student needs, have an educational need of students, having a comprehensive educational curriculum based on entrepreneurial competencies (with public policy support) andinfrastructure, trained teaching staff, curricular experiences with traceability outside and inside the classroom, with promotion through competitive funds and employability assurance strategies employability assurance strategies.
