The study focused on developing improvements in information management within an organization, emphasizing the importance of Business Intelligence design and the selection of appropriate tools to enhance organizational productivity and efficiency, particularly in decision-making processes. The main objective was to investigate how a Business Intelligence design and decision-making can enhance an information system. To achieve this, a mixed-method study was conducted, combining quantitative and qualitative methodologies through a non-experimental descriptive cross-sectional design. The research was carried out with a sample of workers from the Regional Sub-Management of Institutional Development in the province of Piura. The study's findings demonstrated that a Business Intelligence design, coupled with appropriate decision-making, can significantly enhance an information system. These findings underscore the importance of implementing Business Intelligence strategies in any organization to optimize its information processes.Descargas
