Resumen

The complexity of the supply chain has influenced large companies. That is, the one who dominates the supply chain will obtain a competitive advantage in the market, so many organizations are looking for ways to improve it through new technologies such as Industry 4.0. The research study aims to find and describe the Industry 4.0 tools that affect the performance of the supply chain phases. The research work method begins by searching for sources using the PICO strategy from 2019 to 2024. 340 records were found in Scopus, 170 in Web of Science, and 48 articles were approved. The research results indicate that the Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence, and blockchain improved the performance of the different phases of the supply chain. The conclusion of this study indicates that coordination, communication, and transparency between departments and suppliers were improved in the entry phase. Likewise, in the process phase, production was optimized through the efficiency of operations and timely delivery of materials. Finally, in the output phase, customer satisfaction improves by meeting product requirements.
