Abstract

One option to increase the production level of workers in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises is to implement occupational safety practices to reduce the number of accidents and occupational diseases. We proposed to carry out a study of the different occupational safety practices for micro, small, and medium-sized companies and to establish which are the most frequent. To this end, a search was carried out in the SCOPUS between the years 2020 to 2023, in English. After screening, 27 articles were identified that met the inclusion criteria. The results of this work indicate that the main occupational safety practices are: Training in occupational safety, establishing occupational safety policies, identifying strategies to reduce occupational accidents and implementing them with periodic follow-up, identifying and analyzing potential risks in work areas, strengthening relations with the state, promoting the proper use of PPEs, among others.
