The educational process required in the 21st century must be innovative, seeking to create solutions for a sustainable future. Therefore, terms common in the business sector, such as quality management and quality of management, are employed to enhance human development. For this reason, the present research aims to provide innovative theoretical perspectives that guide university academic management, where the teaching and learning processes of students can be aligned with the industry-AI relationship. All of this is in response to the innovative challenges posed by industry and artificial intelligence to universities. The academic route begins with the paradigmatic stance within a qualitative research approach rooted in the interpretative phenomenological type. Three higher education institutions from two Latin American countries were deliberately selected: ITB, UBE, and ULAC. Intentionally chosen students, teachers, and graduates, who are involved with the aforementioned institutions, served as key informants. In-depth interviews were conducted with the support of a semi-structured guide to gather the required information. The concept of credibility was maintained during the screening process. The hermeneutic-dialectical method proposed by Martínez (2015) was applied for the analysis and construction of the theory. Each step of the method yielded valuable information regarding the academic realm of the institution.Descargas
