Resumen

The research aimed to structure the project for the design of a biodegradable solid shampoo called “Vegan Blooms,” focused on promoting sustainable and plastic-free personal hygiene practices in the city of Trujillo. The proposal responded to the growing concern about the environmental impact of conventional cosmetic products, as well as the increasing demand for eco-friendly, natural, and cruelty-free alternatives. The project was developed by applying the five phases of project management according to the PMBOK Guide: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. In addition, the ten knowledge areas were addressed, which allowed for defining the product scope, establishing a timeline, estimating production costs, and planning quality, resource, communication, and procurement management, as well as identifying associated risks. The shampoo design incorporated natural ingredients, eco-friendly packaging, and a marketing strategy aimed at conscious consumers. The project was consolidated as a sustainable proposal with an environmental and innovation-oriented approach.
