Abstract

The report contains findings of a financial product and its impact on the growth of women's entrepreneurship in a coastal province of Peru. It responds to the quantitative paradigm of non-experimental design. A questionnaire was administered to 123 women beneficiaries of this credit. It was established that the beneficiaries of the loan reside in the area of influence of the financial institution, are in the young adult stage and most of them have businesses in the commerce sector. The impact of one variable on the other was determined through regression and correlation analysis; obtaining a B=0.577 with a significance level of Sig.=0.000 and the coefficient of determination indicates that the MARIA product explains 18.1% of the economic and social growth; concluding that the financial product had a significant impact on the growth of the enterprises studied.
