The research presents the results of the study carried out to determine the influence of a superplasticizing additive on the compressive strength of structural concrete of self-built homes in the city of Cajamarca. The evaluation was carried out by comparing the sample of concrete prepared on site in the casting of lightened slabs of self-built homes as a standard sample, with the sample of concrete prepared by using the superplasticizing additive Sikament 290N in a dosage of 1% of the weight of the cement. Reducing the mixing water by 20% and maintaining the dosage of the other components of the concrete. The tests consisted of making standard cylindrical specimens of the concrete made in the casting of lightened slabs in 07 homes, determining the settlement in the fresh state, and then evaluating the compressive strength at the age of 28 days in the hardened state; and from the results, it was concluded that, when using superplasticizer additive, the compression resistance increases by 108.86% on average. And that the settlement varies by -9.25% on average, improving its workability. Concluding that the use of this superplasticizing additive is an effective, economical and practical alternative solution to have more resistant concrete.Descargas
