It is proposed to analyze female leadership in the business sector as a key factor to promote gender equality. Taking into consideration that female leadership in the city's business sector contributes to the advancement of gender equality in society. To address this issue, an analytical study was conducted using a validated questionnaire with a Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of 0.811, ensuring the reliability of the data collected. The results reveal significant progress in reducing gender gaps in the business and health sectors, driven by the guidelines of Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5), the country's Political Constitution, and various laws and regulations oriented towards equity. However, it was observed that gender inequality decreases as women occupy higher hierarchical positions, while larger gaps persist at the lower levels of organizations. Likewise, the level of academic education is identified as a crucial determinant for the reduction of these disparities. The findings confirm the initial hypothesis and underscore the need to continue strengthening policies and practices in the health and business sectors to achieve more comprehensive gender equality in the future.Descargas
