Abstract

The article presents an innovative design of an automated hydroponic greenhouse (AHG) for vegetable cultivation at home. The system adapts to the needs of different types of plants and offers a practical solution for growing fresh produce in confined spaces. The study describes the construction of the greenhouse, including the materials used, the configuration of the hydroponic system, and the automation components. Experiments are detailed to evaluate the system's performance with different types of vegetables and materials. The AHG demonstrated effectiveness in growing a variety of vegetables, including lettuce, spinach, cherry tomatoes, kale, and strawberries, as well as medicinal and aromatic plants. The system optimized water and nutrient use, and allowed precise control of environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and light, as well as the chemical conditions of the nutrient solution. The AHG is efficient, adaptable, and easy to use, making it an attractive option for those seeking to grow their own food sustainably and represents a significant advancement in home cultivation technology.
