Abstract

Gender equality in the professional field remains a challenge, especially in areas traditionally dominated by men such as industrial engineering. This research project, entitled aims to analyze the contribution of female graduates and students in promoting gender equality in the work environment. Using a qualitative methodology, which combines qualitative approaches, the impact of these women was evaluated in terms of performance, productivity, innovation and economic growth in companies. The results showed that, although CORHUILA has policies for graduates, inclusion and gender equality, the strategies aimed at female graduates are not fully defined. In addition, it is essential to articulate these policies and specifically consider female graduates as part of the female gender. The need to strengthen inclusive policies within the academic program and in the business, sector is highlighted, ensuring that women have equal opportunities and access to work environments that encourage their full professional development. In addition, the importance of implementing support and awareness systems to prevent gender violence and promote a culture of equality and respect at all levels is highlighted.
