Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized Industry 4.0 in its different fields, and the graphic design sector is not exempt. However, despite the advances and research on the application of this technology in art, its use in students is still limited, obstructing their learning focused on mastering AI tools and, therefore, increasing efficiency and productivity in work or institutional environments. The present systematic review aims to describe the effectiveness of different applications of Artificial Intelligence to increase productivity in the graphic designer. For this purpose, publications were collected through the Scopus database and the records were filtered with the help of the PRISMA protocol. Thirteen articles based on the implementation of AI in different areas of graphic design for the solution of specific problems were examined. The review revealed that the application of AI increases inspiration in graphic designers, a capacity that plays an important role in productivity because it is intrinsically linked to the speed with which the creative process is carried out. Furthermore, despite the absence of research with a previous analysis of the causes of inefficiency in graphic designers, design fixation was highlighted as the most predominant and detrimental.Downloads
