This article presents a systematic review of the literature on artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of the circular economy, aiming to analyze its applications and benefits. A structured search methodology is used in scientific databases, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria to select relevant and up-to-date research., computer vision, and intelligent decision-making systems. Furthermore, significant benefits are identified in terms of environmental sustainability, cost reduction, and improved product traceability. However, significant barriers to its implementation are also identified, such as the lack of digital infrastructure, limited access to quality data, and limited technical training.Downloads
