The objective of this research was to provide a knowledge management model to support risk management in the construction sector. The model aims to optimize the risk management process through the efficient use of knowledge. The construction sector is characterized by its high accident rate, which highlights the need to generate models that radically improve the identification, analysis, and evaluation of risks, resulting in an efficient use of resources for risk mitigation. To validate the capacity and scope of the model, a survey was conducted with experts in the sector, evaluating six fundamental parameters to gain an initial understanding of the model. The results obtained were positive; however, it is recommended to conduct pilot tests of the model to validate the experts' feedback.Downloads
