This Research is focused on Lean and Six Sigma tools for their implementation in metalworking industries that operate competitively. The participation of these industries has a 20% contribution to Peru's GDP. On the one hand, there is the participation of society in front of these companies, which have been expecting as a result that the products will be of higher quality and, above all, at a reduced cost. On the other hand, this study analyzes the publications on Lean and Six Sigma, which have been the most used methods and have been shown to have optimal benefits, both for the company and for customers. The database to be used was Scopus, where there were 40 optimal documents for the development of this analysis and the use of the PICO and PRISMA methodologies. Thus, these tools allow us to analyze and propose improvements in processes, as well as reduce waste in industrial operations. Also, these tools have a positive impact on performance, which is reflected in reduction of time and material, improvement of operations and, above all, quality. In order to conclude this RSL, it is of utmost importance to investigate how the methodologies may be necessary to optimize production processes and minimize waste through the analyzed results and how they satisfy the needs of the industries.Downloads
