Resumen

Industrial productivity faces emerging challenges that demand effective and up-to-date operations management. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of operations management practices and the adoption of advanced technologies, such as Big Data and the Internet of Things (IoT), on industrial productivity. A non-experimental design with a mixed-methods approach was employed, corresponding to a systematic review without meta-analysis. Based on established inclusion and exclusion criteria, studies were selected from the Scopus database, highlighting the implementation of Lean practices and information technologies. The results indicate that the integration of these technologies in operations management significantly enhances productivity by optimizing processes, reducing waste, and facilitating real-time decision-making. It is concluded that the application of Lean methodologies along with tools such as Big Data and IoT not only improves operational efficiency but also promotes greater adaptability to market changes, leading to increased industrial competitiveness. The adoption of these practices proves to be highly effective, especially when considering cultural and organizational factors for their correct implementation and sustainability.
