The objective of this systematic review is to investigate the current use of the KANBAN methodology and the impact it has on the productivity of companies in the manufacturing sector. To this end, a meta-analysis was carried out based on the PRISMA method, for filtering and selecting articles. The final selection of 32 articles extracted from Scopus and Proquest are valid for no more than 5 years, where 28.1% of the selection correspond to publications from the year 2023, 21.9% of the selection correspond to the year 2019 and 15.6% correspond to the year 2021. Analyzing the country of origin, Peru is shown as the country with the greatest contribution to the final selection with 21.9%, followed by India is at 18.8% and Indonesia is at 12.5%. The results indicate that implementing Kanban leads to multiple benefits, among which it was validated that the tool allows a significant reduction in inventory levels, freeing up capital and optimizing storage space. The decrease in inventories translates into lower costs of storage, handling, obsolescence and deterioration of materials. Additionally, Kanban favors a more fluid and synchronized production flow, eliminating bottlenecks and reducing waiting times between stages. The improvement in production flow translates into shorter delivery times for customers and a greater capacity to respond to their demands.Descargas
