Abstract

The present study focuses on analyzing the impact of introducing a mobile application on improving responses to vulnerability situations in citizen security in Cajamarca in 2023. With the growing importance of mobile technology in everyday life, we aim to evaluate how this application can strengthen community security. The main objective is to examine how its implementation streamlines communication and coordination between citizens and authorities in emergency cases, using a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses technology, sociology, and public security. The methodology employed is quantitative, applied, descriptive, and of a pre-experimental nature. The results show how the mobile application empowers citizens, enabling them to report incidents quickly and accurately, and receive real-time alerts and relevant information. A 28% increase in citizen security satisfaction levels is observed. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of how mobile technology can significantly contribute to improving citizen security, highlighting the effectiveness of the application in efficient communication and coordination in risk situations.
