In agricultural areas, early and effective fire detection is crucial to mitigate significant economic and environmental losses. In Peru, more than 2,000 forest fires were reported in 2020, affecting vast agricultural areas and causing considerable damage to local production and biodiversity. These statistics highlight the urgency of implementing advanced technologies for fire prevention and management in the country. This article presents an advanced agricultural fire detection system that uses solar energy and subway batteries to operate autonomously and sustainably. This system incorporates state-of-the-art smoke and fire detectors, audible alerts, and a camera with real-time transmission to a mobile application. In addition, it is crucial to gauge satisfaction and feedback on the prototype to ensure that it meets and needs of the users.Downloads
