In the juice industry, the management of organic solid waste, such as peels and pulp, along with high water consumption, were critical environmental factors. Implementing sustainable practices was essential to minimize these impacts and preserve environmental balance. Inefficient practices, such as excessive water use and improper waste disposal, contributed to soil and water contamination, affecting local ecosystems. To address these challenges, improvement strategies were proposed, including time studies, OWAS, Guerchet, and plant redistribution, optimizing production, reducing costs by 78.48%, and enhancing sustainability in the juice processing industry.Downloads
