Abstract

– In this work, two prototypes of the Internet of Things (IoT) for the Smart Campus Zacatenco are presented. The first prototype is a panic button built with an Arduino MKR WAN 1310 small board computer that already includes communication to the LoRa TTN platform. The second prototype is also built with the same Arduino model, but communication is done with the Sigfox IoT platform and is designed to be installed in vehicles for real-time monitoring. Both prototypes have a GPS to perform geolocation in real time. Both were tested at the Smart Campus with satisfactory results.
