By the conclusion of 2023, the Elsevier Pure system was designated as the official platform for managing the institution's research output. This study elucidates the experience of shifting to the new Pure site, emphasizing the drivers for the move, including the necessity for enhanced design adaptability, an optimum user experience, and alignment with the institutional image. It delineates the primary problems encountered, the adopted implementation strategy, and the insights gained. The study indicates that the new portal markedly improves the organization, visibility, and engagement with academic information, establishing itself as a strategic instrument to bolster research management at UCSM and to foster an academic culture that prioritizes scientific dissemination.Downloads
