Accounting automation and its impact on the financial situation of a transportation company: The Peruvian case

Abstract- With the increasing global technological innovation, mankind is in search of developing new technologies to facilitate tasks; Therefore, the present study was born with the purpose of determining the impact of accounting automation on the financial situation of the transportation company, as for the methodology, the research is basic, quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive level, longitudinal cut, the population consisted of 118 stakeholders of the Transportation Company; for which the sample was 94, the questionnaire was applied as an instrument; the same that was determined the reliability of 0. 867, using Crombach's Alpha, the results obtained from this research showed high financial indicators; therefore, the conclusions reached are that the accounting automation has a favorable impact on the financial situation of the transport and services company Amancaes S.A. - Lima, because it has contributed to the improvement of the financial situation of the company. Lima, because it has contributed to the improvement of the accounting process, generating objective and reliable information for decision making; in the same way in each of the components of automation such as: information processing, human capital and cost reduction.
