Resumen

The study carried out in the Yonán District Entity aims to implement an ergonomics program to improve the productivity of administrative work in the year 2024. It was identified that poor ergonomic conditions were affecting the performance of workers, causing muscle fatigue due to repetitive postures. To analyze the data and design solutions, the Shapiro-Wilk statistical method and the REBA test were used. Following the implementation of the program in May, there will be an 11% increase in labor productivity and a 54% increase in activity compliance, compared to March. Normality tests suggested that productivity distributions in both months were normal. With a confidence level of 95% it was confirmed that there was a significant improvement in productivity. The program included the acquisition of new furniture and ergonomic tools, as well as training on the importance of ergonomics and recommendations for adopting appropriate postures. This helped reduce ergonomic risks and improve the well-being and productivity of white-collar workers, adapting their work environment to their physical and cognitive needs. In short, ergonomics contributed to creating a safer, more efficient and comfortable work environment.
