A systematic review. Efficacy of natural coagulants in the treatment of domestic wastewater.

Abstract

This review is based on the current problems experienced by the contamination of domestic wastewater, which has been increasing over the years and by the increase in population, affecting the environment, mainly water. Thus, the proposal to use natural products as potential coagulants reduces the toxicity and repercussions to the environment and health generated by conventional chemical coagulants, contributing to the care and preservation of water resources.
