Abstract– This study analyzes the implementation of educational management strategies based on the 5S methodology and its impact on optimizing academic and administrative processes in an educational institution in Ate, Peru, during 2024. The 5S methodology, originating from Japan, is grounded in five pillars: Seiri (classification), Seiton (organization), Seiso (cleanliness), Seiketsu (standardization), and Shitsuke (discipline), all aimed at fostering organization, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Employing a non-experimental design and a quantitative approach, data were collected from a sample of 86 collaborators using questionnaires, which were evaluated with Cronbach's alpha to ensure the reliability of the instruments. Results indicated that, although the 5S methodology contributes to improving organizational climate and promotes operational efficiency, the overall correlation between the 5S strategies and the evaluated processes was weak, with the Shitsuke dimension being the most influential. Conversely, the Seiri, Seiton, and Seiso dimensions showed non-significant correlations, indicating the need for a more robust and consistent implementation. It is concluded that the 5S represent a valuable tool, but they must be complemented with comprehensive approaches and continuous evaluation systems to maximize their impact in the educational field, ensuring institutional sustainability and competitiveness.Downloads
