The present study was a systematic literature review (SLR) analysis to design a management based on total productive maintenance (TPM) applied to industrial equipment. The PRISMA method was used, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches through a systematic review and the PICO method to analyze articles published between 2020 and 2024. 23 articles were selected for the final analysis. Predecessors who executed an action plan with TPM report a significant increase in overall machine effectiveness (OEE), increasing this indicator by 33.42% and achieving a 97% reduction in maintenance costs. In addition, a 74% improvement in performance and a 30% decrease in operating costs will be observed. The study concluded that TPM is effective in increasing equipment reliability and availability, being crucial to improve competitiveness and operational efficiency in industries with automated and sequential processes.Downloads
